Reporting to the Senior Manager of Technology Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will perform a variety of financial activities for the Technology Function including: financial operations, financial reporting, financial planning & analysis, decision analysis, and continuous process improvement within Technology Finance. This role can be based out of our Toronto ON office or our Florenceville NB office. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Operations Review accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness of the information and take corrective action to resolve issues Review contracts, POs and Invoices for accuracy and completeness of the information and take corrective action to resolve issues Review project costs/transactions for accuracy and completeness of the information and take corrective to resolve Forecast and track prepaid spending and maintain amortization schedules Financial Reporting Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financials for both expense and capital Prepare, analyze, and follow up on Corporate and Regional Technology spend (Budget, Actual, Forecasts, and Variances) Prepare and report on project costs and technology investments Financial Planning & Analysis Participate in the budgeting and forecasting cycles in Technology Communicate/train technology & business users on how to complete the templates Provide year-over-year variance analysis in partnership with Technology Report on project costs Decision Analysis for key strategic technology initiatives: Build a cost/benefit analysis template and business case template Communicate/train technology.
