Loss Prevention Manager

Loss Prevention Supervisor helps in managing the daily functions of the department to ensure protection of property assets, employees, guests and property. Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures. Trains staff in established emergency procedures and implements accident and fire prevention procedures. Education and Essential Job Functions: High school diploma or GED; 4 years' experience in the security/loss prevention or related professional area. Assists the Director of Facilities in administering fire prevention programs and emergency preparedness. Comply with applicable laws and safety regulations. Follow proper key control guidelines in loss prevention and in the property. Monitors all unusual activities in and around the property that would impair the well-being of guests and employees. Work with local and state police departments concerning VIP guests, issues of crime pertaining to the property and issues that would impact daily operations Monitor the property for areas of concern to deter theft and vandalism. Ensure all LPOs are walking the property daily and address any safety concerns with departmental leaders. Keep Loss Prevention staff well-informed and maintain training and organizational standards. Hire and train new officers. When necessary assist in providing traffic control by assigning LPO stations to direct cars and guests. Oversee crowd control by assigning LPO stations to keep people clear of residential areas. Assist in managing parking by organizing additional parking areas during high traffic. Assist other departments with issues not pertaining to Security, such as Housekeeping, Engineering, etc. Contribute to overall safety at the Resort. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
