Pickleball Professional Coordinator

Pickleball Professional Coordinator (PPC) will help in maximizing pickleball court utilization by providing a variety of activities, programs, and events that meet the needs of the membership and resort guests through the sport of pickleball. The general roles and responsibilities of the Pickleball Coordinator will be to deliver a range of services customarily provided by a PPR Certified Professional. These services will include, but are not limited to: Maximize usage of pickleball courts to attract new members Collaborate with management team and F&B in order to create new programming and events. Assist in achieving financial targets for lessons/clinics, social events, tournaments, and camps. Work with Director of Sports & Wellness and Marketing Manager to formulate promotional material that will generate new membership and room nights. Work with the Head Tennis Professional to continue to cultivate the relationship between all racquet sports. Assist in the development of pickleball packages and programs, such as the "Stay and Play" package currently used by the tennis program in order to promote additional room nights. Plan a program to ensure that all of our pickleball players have multiple clinic options, social events, and tournaments to participate in throughout the calendar year. Provide budget information for tournaments, round robins, camps, and social events. Assist in the coordination of interclub play and in-house leagues. Work with other pickleball directors both locally and in the Mid-Atlantic region to build events for our members. Solicit, receive, and respond to member feedback. Appropriately manage court time for all programs and events. Help maintain facility in a manner commensurate with a four-star resort by keeping courts clean and safe. Maintain a positive attitude towards members, guests, and staff, while having a 4-star level of care and service. Stay on the leading edge of progress as it pertains to pickleball teaching methods, industry trends and technology advances.
