Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay, DOE Opportunity to advance Full benefits after 60 days (medical, dental, life, and AD&D) Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays 401k with company matching Elective benefits available (AFLAC, Colonial Life) Position Overview Essential duties of an A/R Collections Specialist are to provide professional, courteous, and superior customer service, while serving and maintaining positive relationships with All-Guard's customers. Primary responsibility is daily, weekly and monthly in the areas listed below. Job Duties Responsible for collections of past due invoices. Manage billing and collections calls in a serviceable manner. Analyze and research information regarding customer account activity, with the ability to review and comprehend contract agreements, invoices, and other related documentation. Process and post payments. Extensive written documentation and record keeping of all calls and activity. Processing electronic payments, credit cards and EFTs Employment Qualifications Proven ability to work closely and cooperatively within a tight working team. Minimum of 2-3 years of Customer Service experience. Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Receivable role. Capability to cope with and serve all personality types. Ability to reason and negotiate with customers under challenging circumstances, while possessing an understanding, helpful, and respectful demeanor. Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Must have ability to solve complex problems, with minimal to no direction. Ability to prioritize issues and multi-task. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with the ability to provide clean, specific, and well documented procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and others). Must be able to hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees, customers, and/or vendors. Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, and operating office equipment. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen (excluding cannabinoids), and an investigative background check. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of DICE accounting software. In possession of ACE (Alarm Company Employee) License, issued through the State of California. 2-3 years' experience working in the Alarm Industry.
