Location: Remote Position Description: The Automation Engineer, Junior (Microsoft Power Platform & BI Tools) is responsible for the development and administration of Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Minimum/General Experience: 2 years of experience in data-specific roles Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Essential Skills/Qualifications: Above average knowledge of data analytics Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate) Experience with BI Tools and Systems (e.g., Tableau and System Application and Product in Processing (SAP)) Knowledge in using advance level calculations on data sets Knowledge in interactive reports and maintaining dashboards Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills for translating data into informative reports and visuals Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively identify and discuss requirements with client teams and internal teams Security : Ability to obtain/maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident that has lived in the United States for at least 3 years Federal Civilian Public Trust Consists of a review of up to but not limited to: Covers 5-10 year period and in some instances lifetime events OPM Security Investigations Index (SII) DOD Defense Central Investigations Index (DCII) National Agency Check (NAC) records FBI name check FBI fingerprint check Credit report check Written inquiries to previous employers and references listed on the application for employment Potential interviews with the subject, spouse, neighbors, supervisor, coworkers Law enforcement check Court records check Education check- Attendance and Degrees Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to: Builds user-based access levels to reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPI) scorecards, and dashboards Builds Analysis Services reporting models Develops visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop Designs methodology and project documentaries Connects data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence Develops tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards Participates in creation and linkage of Relational Database/Tables Oxley Enterprises®, Inc. is a certified service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVOSB), economic disadvantaged woman-owned (EDWOSB), Small Business Administration Certified 8(a), HUBZone and small disadvantaged business (SDB) that has over 22 years of experience building and delivering quality IT systems and programs.
