City/StateCharlottesville, VAOverviewWork ShiftFirst (Days) (United States of America)Sentara Martha Jefferson is hiring a full time Echocardiographer!Sign on Bonus available and Relocation Assistance can be provided to qualified candidates! Hours: Monday - Friday, day shift, with call every 5th week to include the weekend. The Echocardiographer must live within a 30-minute drive of the hospital for call purposes.Chat with our Cardiovascular Technology Recruiter every Wednesday from 11:30am to 12:30pm EST.The non invasive Echocardiographer performs two dimensional echocardiograms, Doppler echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms and pharmacological stress echocardiograms to evaluate heart and vessel abnormalities for the evaluation of heart disease and blood flow abnormalities. Completes the technologist report in the structured report application.Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent, with experience as an Echocardiographer Associates or Bachelor degree in Cardiovascular Technology Basic Life Support Adult echocardiography registry (RDCS or RCS or RDCS) required within 12 months of hire.Experience: Echocardiography - 1-yr. preferred but will consider a new graduateof an accredited echocardiography program (or equivalent education) in accordance with IAC Guidelines.
