Practice Area: Finance - General,Finance - Banking , Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in Washington, DC, seeks a skilled Mid-Level/Senior Private Equity Debt Finance Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and will be responsible for representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in various financial transactions.Duties:Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth.Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents.Provide legal advice and support on debt finance matters.Conduct legal research and analysis as needed.Collaborate with partners and clients to achieve desired outcomes.Requirements:A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in debt finance transactions.Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or banks in financial transactions preferred.Outstanding academic credentials from a reputable law school.Admitted to the Bar in Washington, DC, or eligible for prompt admission.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Relevant Bar admission in Washington, DC (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly).Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
