<p>Job Title: <strong>PCB/A Design for Manufacturing Technician</strong></p><p>As a Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Technician, you will help Keysight Technologies bring electronic designs to market by providing high quality design and layout review and analysis services to internal R&D customers. This position is an integral part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team working on the latest R&D designs with a focus on high quality designs and aggressive time-to-market scheduling.</p><p><strong>Experience/Familiarity with or Willingness to learn the following: </strong></p><ul><li>PCB/A Manufacturing processes and design needs.</li><li>PCB/A component spacing and copper design rules.</li><li>Documentation requirements for PCB/A fabrication.</li><li>Documentation Control Systems, Enovia/Matrix-One (or similar).</li><li>Siemens/Mentor Graphics Validation tools: Valor (11.x), Genesis (PCB fabricators use this to check data).</li><li>PCB/A design review of RF, uWave, High Density & Mixed Technology Designs</li><li>Review technical data packs – ensuring they are correct.</li><li>Follows fabrication rules.</li><li>Basic Electrical Circuit Theory.</li><li>Technician who has worked turning on PCA/PBCs and troubleshoots errors to fix.</li></ul><p><strong>Job Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>PCA/PCB -Design/Layout (3 years’ experience - simple layouts might be ideal).</li><li>Strong desire to work in the electronics field and grow technical skill.</li><li>Ability to understand PCA/B design guidelines & standards (Do’s & Don’ts).</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office & Adobe Tools.</li><li>Effectively multi-task multiple designs.</li><li>Design For Manufacturing (DFM) background.</li><li>This role is front-end engineering, not backend.</li><li>Successfully communicate with cross functional department representatives (Planning, Procurement, R&D Engineering).</li><li>Experience with Valor or Genesis PCB manufacturing software.</li><li>Adhere to schedules and department policies.</li><li>Work as part of a team to achieve department goals.</li><li>Experience with debugging tools.</li><li>Shows an interest in electronics.</li><li>Someone who is open to learning.</li><li>Someone who pays attention to details.</li></ul><p><strong>Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation): Pay Range: </strong>$35.00/hour - $40.00/hour W-2. <strong>Benefits: </strong>Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met). <strong>Work Schedule:</strong> Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours/week). <strong>100% onsite at Keysight Location: 1400 Fountain Grove Parkway, Santa Rosa, CA 95403</strong>. The resource ideally local to the Santa Rosa or Roseville areas will be considered. <strong>Contract Duration:</strong> 24 months (06/17/2024 to 06/16/2026).</p>
